What is dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning uses non-aqueous (non-water) cleaning solvents to clean fabrics and garments. It is ideal for removing dirt and odours without risking damage to delicate fabrics. Please check your care label before choosing this service.

What types of items can be dry cleaned?

Many garments benefit from dry cleaning, especially those made of natural fibres or delicate fabrics — but always check the care label to confirm suitability.

Turnaround Times & Operating Hours

How long does it take to get my clothes back?

Our standard laundry and dry-cleaning service aims for 24-hour turnaround, subject to item type and processing requirements. If an item requires longer (e.g., bedding or specialist items), we will do our best to inform you.

At what times can my order be collected or delivered?

We pick-up and deliver every day, typically between 12pm and 9pm, depending on area and availability. Please check your postcode for available slots. If you have any questions, contact us at help@laundrish.com.

Can you collect from one location and deliver to another?

We may be able to do this as long as both locations are within the same area. Please contact us at help@laundrish.com or via live chat to arrange.

Can I receive a delivery if I'm not home?

If your building has a concierge/reception/porter, you can add delivery instructions during booking so our driver can deliver there.

Can you leave my items in a safe place?

If you want us to leave your items in an agreed location, please include clear written instructions in your booking notes. This may be accepted at our discretion.

Express Same-Day Laundry Service (6 Hours)

What is the Express Same-Day Laundry Service?

It is a priority laundry service where your items are collected, cleaned, and delivered back to you on the same day within 6 hours, subject to availability.

What time do I need to book for same-day service?

You must place your booking before 11:00 AM to qualify for same-day collection and delivery.

Can I book the express service in advance?

Yes, you may book in advance and choose the same-day express option for your selected date (subject to availability).

What happens if I book after 11:00 AM?

Bookings made after 11:00 AM will be scheduled under our standard service, which has a 24-hour turnaround time.

Is the Express Service available every day?

Availability depends on daily capacity, staffing, and area coverage.

Is Express Service available across all London?

No, it is available only in selected Central and surrounding London areas.

How do I check if my area is covered?

Enter your postcode on our website or mobile app to check availability.

Can I still place an order if I'm outside the coverage area?

You may contact us via WhatsApp to check possible alternatives, but availability is not guaranteed.

Pricing, Minimum Order & Payments

What are the prices?

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes, the minimum order value for standard services is £20.

What is the minimum order value for Express Service?

The minimum order value is £60.

How much do I pay at the time of booking (Express)?

£60 is collected at the time of booking.

When is the remaining balance charged (Express)?

The remaining balance is deducted when your order is ready, before delivery on the same day.

Is Express Service more expensive than standard service?

Yes. Express pricing is higher due to priority handling, dedicated staff, and fast turnaround.

How can I pay? Is it safe?

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All transactions are securely processed via Stripe using SSL encryption.

You charged me after I placed the order — why?

We authorise the payment method to ensure it is valid and has sufficient funds. This authorisation is automatically released once the order is completed (depending on your bank).

Where is my receipt?

Your order history and receipts are available in the Orders section after login. Receipts may appear within 24 hours after delivery.

Changes, Rescheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

Can I change my cleaning instructions at the door?

Our drivers will help tag your bags according to what you booked online. If you need to remove a service, contact us as soon as possible at help@laundrish.com or via live chat. Telling the driver alone may not be sufficient, and failing to update may result in extra charges.

Can I reschedule my order?

Yes, you may reschedule subject to availability. Some reschedules may incur a fee depending on timing and operational constraints.

I accidentally missed a collection/delivery — what now?

If you cannot be reached and the attempt fails, please contact support via live chat or help@laundrish.com to arrange a new collection/delivery. A £5 fee may apply for each additional attempt.

How can I cancel an order?

What is a no-show? (Express Service)

A no-show occurs when our driver arrives for collection but the laundry is not available.

Yes. A £20 no-show fee applies for Express Same-Day bookings.

Laundry Preparation & Washing Information

Do I need to separate the laundry and dry cleaning items?

Yes, please separate them. We recommend using a separate bag for each service (laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, etc.).

I am allergic to certain detergent — what are my options?

You can request bio or non-bio detergent. Add your preference in the booking notes or ask the driver to note it at collection.

Do you charge additionally for separate washing?

If you send anything less than 6kg and request separate washing, we may charge for minimum loads. For best value, we recommend sending 12kg or more for items that need separate washing.

Should I weigh the bag at home?

No. Your bag will be weighed at the facility using professional scales.

Can I give extra items to the collection?

Yes. Please hand extra items to the driver and clearly provide any instructions. If you want to remove items/services booked online, contact help@laundrish.com or live chat as soon as possible.

Quality, Issues & Re-cleans

How can you ensure my items won't be damaged?

We handle items with maximum care and up-to-date equipment. In the rare case of damage, it will be handled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Please note that claims should be made within the stated time window after delivery.

Ironed clothes still seem wrinkled — can you explain?

Very creased garments may not iron perfectly without washing. For best results, choose “Dry cleaning & ironed laundry” so items are ironed fresh after cleaning.

What happens if I'm not happy with the result?

We take quality seriously. If you are not satisfied, contact us and we will review the issue and support you in line with our quality guarantee and policy.
